Founder & Managing Director

With more than 22 years’ experience across psychology and professional development, including over 13 years supporting the Director and managing the operations of an occupational psychology consultancy, I bring both sector understanding and hands-on experience of how professional services businesses operate.

My background combines supporting senior leadership with involvement in a wide range of consultancy activity: coordinating projects and specialist contributors, maintaining client relationships, and supporting recruitment, training, marketing, business development and day-to-day operations. This has given me a strong understanding of the demands of client delivery and the planning, communication, documentation and follow through needed to keep work on track.

That experience is complemented by my own professional background in psychology and my work with clients across different areas of psychology, coaching and professional development. I understand the terminology and context, can communicate confidently with practitioners and other stakeholders, and recognise the importance of accuracy, discretion and handling sensitive information appropriately.

I established ExecutiveVA to bring this combination of sector knowledge, professional understanding and practical business experience to psychologists, coaches and consultancies looking for knowledgeable, flexible support.

I bring a practical, thoughtful and conscientious approach, combining sector knowledge with an eye for detail and an understanding of the bigger picture. Whether coordinating a project, managing operational processes or supporting wider business activities, my aim is to take responsibility for the practicalities, keep things moving and give you confidence that things are being taken care of.

I value good working relationships, clear communication and trust. I want the people I work with to feel supported, confident in the work I’m undertaking and able to concentrate on the areas where their own time and expertise are best spent.

I am a Chartered Psychologist, a BPS Registered Test User and a Certified Business Psychologist with the Association for Business Psychology. I am also a member of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology and Special Group in Coaching Psychology.

I am guided by the BPS Code of Ethics and Conduct and its four principles of respect, competence, responsibility and integrity. Confidentiality, discretion and the careful handling of information are central to my work, including when supporting senior leaders and clients working with sensitive information.

ExecutiveVA is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and holds Professional Indemnity Insurance.
